Q: Mr Gupta, am spamming your forum today. My December 2007 Getz Prime has completed 13K Km. Is it a good time to get the extended warranty? You have a getz and did you go for it? The dealers/workshop generally project a picture that not having a Extended Warranty may land me up into trouble later on but wanted to know is it worthy for 7.5K INR? I drive mainly in the kolkata city and my daily drive is about 30 km.

A: Hi Saikat, If you intend to keep your car for a long time and are satisfied with the service being offered at your authorized service centre then an extended warranty at an additional cost makes sense.

Q: I am Mateen from HYDERABAD i want to buy two cars in which one is an SUV like(prado,RHINO,AUDIQ7) and another is a BIG LUXURY SEDAN like (CAMRY,MERCEDESBENZ,AUDI A8,A4.)but not BMW because ihata that company.

A: Hi Mateen, I cannot help but feel that you're having some flights of fancy. For example a Rhino and a Prado/AudiQ7 just don't gel. The same goes for ruling out a BMW. Q: Sir Thank you verymuch your feed(below) back. You suggested Nisan.., we want want to go for Pajeoro pl advice /comment thanks Our expert has made a modification to the answer to the query posted by you . Your Question: Sir, Planning to buy SUV veh . Range 20 to 25 L , we having agricultural lands every week end will drive min 200 km on rough road pl advice thanks Our Expert's Modified Answer: Hi Balu, I feel you'll be better off with a Toyota-land cruiser in the long run, by way of low ownership costs. However, this would seem out of your budget. In that case, you can seriously consider the Nissan-Xtrail. For details, you can activate 'make your own comparison' under the 'Research/price' feature, off our Home Page, to view their spec and performance data side by side and figure out which one suits your needs best. Round it off by taking meaningful test drives on the short listed ones and then decide for yourself. Date: 24-Sep-2008

A: If you can afford it, by all means go for Pajero. I've already suggested it as the first preference. Xtrail was the option to suit your budget.
