| Q: |
What is the cost of New Tubeless Tyre for reva? Is the tyres repairable?

Hi Yogesh, the Reva uses specially imported 'Low-Rolling Resistance' TLTs, where punctures can be repaired like any other TLT. However, if it's a burst, then any tyre has to be written off for good and no repairs should be attempted. As for it's price, I'm sorry I don't have it readily with me and you'll have to get it either from your Reva Dealer or thro' the Reva website using their 'contact us' feature.

Dear Mr.Gupta,
Hope you are doing fine !
I have chosen 2 cars - one hatchback and the other a 3 box sedan - swift and logan.
Can you plz advise which one is the better considering long term VFM,reliability, mileage and safety? Although it is like comparing apples to oranges but still it would be very helpful if you advise. Are we expecting a revamped logan by the year end?

Hi Nilanjan, as you've yourself said, you're trying to compare apples with oranges. For starters, you have to decide for yourself whether a hatch or a sedan, keeping in mind that Logan petrol's engines are not state of art but its diesel is. And for a diesel to be viable, you should be doing at least 1500 km/pm. Keeping these in mind, Please browse thro' our URL http://www.indiaautomobile.com/index.php?option=experttalks&page=askan expert_car&cat=1/ using suitable key words and figure out which ones offer a better long term value for money.

Hi Myke, the Reva-E is an impractical car as not only its range gets severely restricted to about 50km/charge with AC on BUT its batteries last hardly 2-3 years and cost Rs: 55,000/-to replace ! For more on an FAQ like that, either activate our 'Research/Compare' Feature or browse thro' our AE-QnA's under our 'Discover' feature, using suitable key words.
